The HTC Imagio is the first phone that has been designed for Verizon Wireless that has the V cast video and music bundle. This is a service that was present in all other phones like the Samsung Rogue and the LG enV Touch. This feature has now been incorporated in this phone as well to keep it at par with the rest of the phones in it category in the market. The dimensions of the phone are 4.6 inches tall by 2.4 inches wide by 0.5 inch thick which makes it pretty good for fitting into the nooks and crannies of you bag or the pockets of your jeans. Apart from that, the phone weighs about 5.25 ounces which makes the phone neither too light and flimsy like many of the phones that are coming out today and nor too heavy and bulky like the phones that used to come out earlier. The exterior is black which may not be that happening but is not boring either. The back of the phone has a soft and comfortable finish which makes it easy to hold and provides a tight and secure grip. . The dimensions of the phone are so that they make it sleek and slim and a style statement for anyone who carries it.
The touch screen responds really well and there is no lag in the response. In fact, it is quite prompt and quick. Apart from that, the WVGA screen is what makes the pictures sharp and clear and the colors as vibrant as they can be. Usually there is quite a bit of a problem with the resistive kind of touch screens as like in the HTC Imagio. But this is not the case with this phone as mentioned earlier. The screen in fact, is the best feature of this phone. The screen measures 3.6 inches and has a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels which is what is responsible for the brilliant pictures and videos. The HTC Imagio is also enabled with a virtual keyboard instead of the standard Android one. The keys on this keyboard are well spaced making it easier to type messages in a hurry. The HTC Imagio also comes with an inbuilt accelerometer which changes the orientation of the screen along with the orientation of the phone. However, this feature is only applicable for certain applications like Web pages, photos and emails.
There is a kick stand at the back of the phone which enables you to view your videos easily and without using your hands as support. So this means that you can comfortably watch movies on this phone. Apart from that, the micro SD card slot is located conveniently at a place where you do not have o restart your phone very time you want to access the card. The phone also comes with a 3.5 mm jack instead of a proprietary jack which is a great relief for all of us. Overall, the HTC Imagio is a great mix of features that enables it to be used both for business and multimedia purposes.
